And that means all of us here at Cubework are excited to report that we will be opening one of the Chicago area’s only Indoor Pickleball court complexes soon!
Located in Lincolnwood at our 7080 N McCormick Blvd facility, the site will have three professionally set up and designed Pickleball courts to welcome players of all ages and skill levels!
Our climate-controlled indoor pickleball court ensure that the game continues, no matter the season. It’s the perfect spot for office teams, school groups, religious organizations, clubs, or individual players just looking for a great place to enjoy a game of Pickleball.
Pickleball is, in very simple terms, a version of tennis. It’s played on a similar court, though it’s smaller than a tennis court, making it accessible for all ages and skill levels. Players use a round plastic ball with multiple perforations and paddles that are lightweight, allowing for faster, controlled swings. This means you can smack a pickleball hard, sending it with power across the net, but it won’t fly wildly out of bounds or into the neighbor’s yard with the mean dog.
The perforations reduce the ball’s speed, giving you the chance to add some strategic spins and trick shots—perfect for keeping your opponents on their toes. Bring intensity to the game by heating up the ball, but without the scary power of tennis. This unique mix of control and energy makes Pickleball a fun and accessible game that’s rapidly growing in popularity!
