Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 sq ft of floor space, ideally 20ft x 10ft, with a height clearance of 8 feet. Dedicated areas should be 10ft x 8ft for individual timepieces.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage. Dust accumulation should be minimized through regular cleaning.
Special Handling: All timepieces are considered fragile. Each item requires individual padding with acid-free tissue paper and bubble wrap. Boxes should be appropriately sized to prevent movement. Fragile stickers are mandatory.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored in sturdy cardboard boxes. Pallet storage (48" x 30" pallets) is permissible, but stacking should be limited to two boxes high. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are recommended for better organization and accessibility.
Access Requirements: A standard 12ft wide loading dock is required for truck access. The dock door should be at least 10ft wide with a clearance of 3ft on either side for maneuvering. Forklift access is needed for moving pallets. Consider a 8ft wide access door for manual handling.
