Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 9 feet to accommodate stacking.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is required. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation. Storage surfaces should be level and free of debris.
Special Handling: Security locks are considered fragile items. Each lock should be individually wrapped in protective bubble wrap or foam padding. Pallet wrapping is recommended for bulk quantities. Avoid dropping or rough handling.
Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable shelves are ideal. Shelves should be spaced 18-24 inches apart to allow for easy access. Pallet storage is acceptable for large quantities, but pallets should be arranged to allow for forklift access. Max stack height: 5 shelves.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a minimum 12ft wide access door is necessary. A clear aisle space of 8 feet is required alongside the storage area for forklift operation. Door width: 10 feet. Ensure adequate space (6 feet) for forklift maneuvering within the storage area.
