Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 sq ft area, 20ft x 10ft is recommended, with a height clearance of 12 feet to accommodate larger chassis. Allow for a 3ft access aisle around each chassis.

Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Ensure the floor is level and stable to prevent damage during handling.

Special Handling: Vehicle chassis are inherently fragile. Each chassis requires a minimum of 4ft x 4ft of protective padding around the perimeter. Utilize heavy-duty cardboard or foam padding. Secure loose components with straps or shrink wrap.

Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is the primary recommendation. Utilize 48” high pallets for efficient space utilization. Consider installing narrow aisle racking with adjustable shelving for smaller chassis models.

Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft x 10ft access door is necessary. The door width should be at least 9ft to facilitate maneuvering. A minimum of 10ft of clearance space is required at the loading dock for truck access and chassis removal. Forklift access is essential.
