Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 12ft x 12ft area, Height clearance: 9 feet. Allow for a 3ft walkway around each storage location.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage environment, well-ventilated space with minimal dust. Storage should be protected from direct sunlight. Items should be stored on pallets to minimize direct contact with the floor.
Special Handling: Items designated as “fragile” require protective padding, including bubble wrap and cardboard corner protectors. All items should be wrapped securely. Heavy items require forklift access and careful handling.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is the primary method. Shelving units with adjustable height are recommended for organizing smaller items. Maximum stacking height of 5 shelves, each 4 feet tall. Pallet size: 48” x 40”.
Access Requirements: Loading dock: 12ft wide x 16ft long. Dock door width: 10ft. Clear space around the loading dock: 10ft x 10ft. Door clearance: 9ft. Forklift access is required for all storage locations. Adequate aisle space for movement is crucial, a minimum of 8ft wide.
