Special Handling: Boards are generally durable, but some may contain sharp edges. Wrap individual boards with protective cardboard or foam padding, especially larger or more delicate pieces. Palletize boards for easier handling and protection during transport.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet racking is recommended for optimal space utilization. Allow for stacking heights of up to 8 feet. Shelving units with adjustable heights can also be utilized, but consider a maximum height of 6 feet for stability.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide bay door is required for truck access. A minimum clearance of 10 feet within the dock area is necessary for maneuvering pallet jacks. Door width: 12 feet.
