Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 20ft x 7.5ft area. Height clearance: 9 feet. This allows for approximately 25-30 linear feet of storage.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage area is required. The space should be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation. The floor should be level and clean. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Quartz counters are fragile. Each counter should be individually wrapped with protective padding – bubble wrap or foam sheeting – to prevent scratches and damage during handling. Pallet wrapping is recommended.
Stacking/Shelving: Counters can be stored on pallets (48" x 40" pallets recommended) or placed directly on the floor. Adjustable shelving units (48" height) can be utilized to maximize vertical space. Stacking height should be limited to a maximum of two counters per pallet.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide access door is necessary. A minimum clearance of 10 feet is needed on either side of the counters for forklift access. Forklift width should be 8ft or less. Ensure adequate aisle space for maneuvering.
