Special Handling: Ovens are heavy and potentially fragile. Each oven requires a minimum of 4ft x 4ft of protection during movement. Utilize foam padding and cardboard bracing to prevent damage during handling. Secure all items with straps or shrink wrap.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended, utilizing standard 48” high pallets. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are acceptable if they can adequately support the weight of an oven (maximum 3,000 lbs). Ensure shelving is secured to the floor.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a minimum width of 12 feet. Door width: 10 feet. A clear space of 8 feet is required for forklift maneuvering around each oven’s storage location. Forklift access is essential for efficient movement. Utilize a ramp for easy access.
