Safeguard Your Pyrometers: Secure Warehouse Storage Solutions
Storing your pyrometers within a robust warehouse environment offers significant advantages for preservation and operational readiness. A well-managed warehouse provides secure and stable storage, protecting these sensitive instruments from physical damage and potential environmental fluctuations. Proper racking systems allow for organized and efficient access, minimizing handling and reducing the risk of accidental damage during retrieval. Utilizing dedicated shelving units, ideally with anti-static properties, is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the pyrometers’ internal components. Warehouses also offer superior protection from dust and debris, which can compromise sensor accuracy. Furthermore, the generally dry atmosphere found in many warehouse settings, coupled with careful stock rotation – prioritizing the use of older units first – ensures optimal performance. Strategic placement away from heavy machinery and direct sunlight is paramount. A warehouse’s inherent structure provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for safeguarding your pyrometers, facilitating smooth operations and minimizing downtime for accurate measurements.
Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, with a floor area of 12ft x 12ft. Height clearance: 8 feet. A dedicated aisle of 4 feet width is required for access.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Surfaces should be clean and free of debris. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Storage should be on a level, stable floor.
Special Handling: Pyrometers are considered fragile instruments. Each unit requires a minimum of 2ft x 2ft of protective padding, such as bubble wrap or foam, to prevent damage during handling. Boxes should be clearly labeled "Fragile – Pyrometer".
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on standard shelving units with adjustable shelves. Shelves should be constructed of sturdy materials. Maximum stacking height: 3 shelves, with a maximum weight load of 50 lbs per shelf. Pallet storage is acceptable if the units are protected with appropriate coverings.
Access Requirements: The warehouse loading dock should have a minimum door width of 10 feet. A clearance space of 10 feet behind the loading dock is necessary for forklift access. The floor should be capable of supporting the weight of forklifts and stored equipment. A secondary access door of 6ft x 8ft should also be available.

Pyrometers require precise storage, and cubework storage spaces are the perfect solution. Their inherent stability provides a level of protection crucial for these sensitive instruments. The modular design of cubework offers unmatched flexibility – you can easily adjust the configuration to accommodate various pyrometer sizes and quantities. This adaptability allows you to optimize your workspace and ensure each device has sufficient room. Furthermore, the robust construction of cubework guarantees a secure and reliable storage environment, minimizing the risk of accidental bumps or jostling. The modular nature also simplifies adding or removing units as your needs evolve, providing a truly scalable solution for your pyrometer storage requirements.
