Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 15ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 12 feet. A dedicated aisle of 5 feet width is required for access.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. The floor should be level and capable of supporting the weight of stored materials. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Holiday lights are considered fragile. Each string should be individually wrapped in bubble wrap or similar protective material. Pallet storage is recommended, with each pallet covered to protect against dust and debris. Ensure adequate padding is used for all items.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stacked on pallets to maximize space. Shelving units with adjustable heights are recommended for storing individual strings of lights. Pallet height should not exceed 5 feet.
Access Requirements: A standard 10ft wide loading dock is required. The loading dock door should be at least 10ft wide with a clear opening of 10ft x 9ft. A 3ft clearance space is needed at the end of the dock for truck maneuverability. Forklift access is essential for efficient material handling. The door should have a minimum clear width of 9ft.
