    Space Requirements

    • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet or a 12ft x 12.5ft area. Height clearance should be a minimum of 9 feet to allow for stacking.
    • Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Dust and debris should be regularly removed.
    • Special Handling: Report covers are considered moderately fragile. Each cover should be individually padded with bubble wrap or cardboard to prevent damage during handling. Consider using corner protectors.
    • Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable height are recommended. Pallet storage (48” high) is acceptable if covers are adequately protected. Stackable shelving should be designed to support a maximum load of 50 lbs per shelf.
    • Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 10ft x 12ft access area is required. The warehouse door should be a minimum of 8ft wide for easy access. A clearance of 3ft around each shelving unit or pallet is necessary for forklift operation.
    • Inventory Management: Utilize a system for organized placement and retrieval, perhaps with color-coded labels for easy identification. Maintain a clear aisle width of 5ft for efficient movement.
