Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 15ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 10 feet. Allow for a 3ft access aisle on each side of the storage area.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage, located in a well-ventilated area. The area should be free from excessive dust and debris. Regular inspections are crucial to identify any potential issues.
Special Handling: Ensembles are considered moderately fragile. All items must be individually wrapped with protective padding, such as bubble wrap or packing peanuts, before placement. Palletized items should have adequate bracing.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored using pallet racking (48” high), or stacked directly on the floor if space allows. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are recommended for maximizing vertical space. Ensure the floor is level to prevent instability.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft wide x 14ft deep bay. Door width: 9ft. A minimum clearance of 8ft is required at the loading dock for forklift access. A secondary access door, 6ft wide x 8ft high, is also needed for manual handling.
