Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, 20ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 12 feet. A dedicated space of at least 15ft x 15ft is recommended for optimal handling.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage area, well-ventilated with minimal direct sunlight. The storage area should be free from dust and debris. Items should be placed on a level surface.
Special Handling: Monuments are inherently fragile. Each item requires individual padding with thick foam or bubble wrap. Secure wrapping with heavy-duty stretch wrap is mandatory. A protective layer of cardboard should be used for each item.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on pallets (48” x 40”), requiring a 12” pallet height. Shelving units with adjustable height levels are recommended for vertical storage, maximizing space. Pallet height should be no more than 4 feet.
Access Requirements: Loading dock needs a 12ft wide x 12ft deep bay. Door width: 10 feet. A minimum clearance of 8 feet around each monument is necessary for handling and movement. Forklift access is required for moving pallets. Consider a secondary access door for smaller maneuvering.
