Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, with dimensions of 20ft x 10ft. Height clearance: 10 feet. This allows for a reasonable quantity of optical elements.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage area with good ventilation. The area should be free from dust and debris. Regular inspections for damage are crucial.
Special Handling: All optical elements are considered fragile. Each item must be individually wrapped in bubble wrap or foam padding. Stacking height should not exceed 4 feet. Protective corner guards on shelving are highly recommended.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on sturdy, adjustable shelving units. Pallet storage is acceptable for larger items, but shelving is preferred for optimal space utilization. Shelves should be constructed of steel with a minimum of 3/4" thickness.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft wide access door. A minimum of 10ft of clearance space is needed at the loading dock for maneuvering equipment. Forklifts with a load capacity of 5,000 lbs are required for moving pallets. Door width: 10 feet.
