Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 12ft x 12ft area. Height clearance: 9 feet. A dedicated aisle space of 4 feet wide is required alongside the storage area.
Storage Conditions: The storage space must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage to the sample cards. Dust accumulation should be minimized.
Special Handling: Color sample cards are considered fragile. Each card should be individually wrapped in acid-free tissue paper or protective sleeves. Stacking should be limited to a maximum of 3 tiers. Padding should be used under stacked items to prevent pressure damage.
Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable shelves are recommended. Shelves should be spaced no more than 12 inches apart to accommodate the card sizes. Pallet storage (48” x 40” pallets) is acceptable, but cards must be securely stacked on the pallets. Consider using interlocking shelving systems for stability.
