Space Requirements

  • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 15ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 12 feet. Allow for a 3ft walkway around each pallet.

  • Storage Conditions: Dry storage area, well-ventilated space. The storage area should be protected from direct sunlight and rain. Ensure adequate airflow to prevent dust accumulation.

  • Special Handling: Building panels are considered fragile. Each panel requires 4-inch padding on all edges and corners. Use protective corner boards during stacking. Handle with care to avoid damage. Pallets should be wrapped in protective sheeting.

  • Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended. Shelving units with adjustable height are suitable for smaller panels. Maximum stacking height: 5 pallets (60 inches). Ensure shelving is robust and capable of supporting the weight of stacked panels.

  • Access Requirements: Loading dock: 12ft wide x 14ft long. Dock door width: 10ft. Clearance space around loading dock: 10ft x 10ft. Warehouse door width: 10ft. Clearance space: 8ft x 8ft. Forklift access required.
