Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet is recommended for efficient storage.
Storage Conditions: Storage should be in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading or warping of the boards. The floor should be level and clean to minimize potential damage.
Special Handling: Boards are considered moderately fragile. We recommend using protective padding, such as foam or cardboard, during handling and storage. Palletize boards when stacking to prevent scratching or dents. Consider using corner protectors on each board.
Stacking/Shelving: Boards can be stacked up to 4 pallets high, with each pallet requiring a 48” x 40” footprint. Utilizing shelving units with adjustable heights is advisable. Pallet storage is suitable for larger quantities.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide bay is required for truck access. The dock door should be a minimum of 10ft wide. A clear space of 8ft is needed alongside the dock for forklift maneuvering. Ensure adequate aisle space between storage areas is 8ft for equipment access.
