Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, ideally 20ft x 10ft, with a height clearance of 12 feet. Allow for a 5ft access aisle around each stack.
Storage Conditions: Storage must be in a dry, well-ventilated area. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Paperboard sheets are considered fragile. Items should be wrapped in protective padding (cardboard, bubble wrap) to prevent tearing and bending. Larger sheets should be handled with care to avoid creases.
Stacking/Shelving: Utilize pallet racking for efficient storage. Pallets should be 48" x 40" to maximize space. Shelving units with adjustable height shelves are acceptable, but maximum stack height should be limited to 5 shelves, no more than 48" high per shelf.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide bay door is required. Door width should be at least 10ft for easy access. A clear aisle space of 8ft is needed for forklift maneuverability. Ensure adequate lighting within the storage area.
