Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 10ft x 20ft area. Height clearance: 8 feet. This allows for a reasonable quantity of stain samples.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent odors from developing. Avoid direct sunlight exposure to minimize fading. The floor should be level and easily cleaned.
Special Handling: Stain samples are considered fragile. Each container should be individually padded with bubble wrap or foam to prevent damage during handling. Containers should be labeled clearly with the stain name and date received.
Stacking/Shelving: Utilize adjustable shelving units to maximize vertical space. Shelves should be spaced no more than 18 inches apart to accommodate various container sizes. Pallet storage (48” x 40”) is acceptable for larger quantities, but shelving is preferred for individual samples.
