    Fiberglass Liners

Protect Your Fiberglass Liners: Secure Storage Solutions.

Fiberglass liners represent a durable and essential component across numerous industries, and selecting the right warehouse storage solution is paramount to their longevity and usability. Warehouses provide an ideal environment for storing these robust materials due to their inherent stability and protective capabilities. Proper storage begins with careful stacking, utilizing pallet racking systems to maximize space and prevent damage from direct ground contact. Liners should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to minimize potential degradation. Consider using protective covers or shrink wrap to shield the liners from dust and debris. Regular inspection of stacked materials is crucial, ensuring no shifting or compression occurs. Warehouses offer secure access and inventory management, facilitating efficient retrieval when needed. The robust construction of fiberglass liners is naturally resistant to many environmental factors, and a well-organized warehouse layout, coupled with diligent handling practices, will significantly contribute to maintaining the integrity and performance of your investment for years to come. Strategic placement and organized storage within a warehouse are key to safeguarding this valuable product.

    Space Requirements

    • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, with an area of 10ft x 20ft recommended. Height clearance: 12 feet to accommodate stacking.
    • Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
    • Special Handling: Fiberglass liners are considered fragile. Each liner should be individually wrapped in protective padding (bubble wrap or foam) to prevent scratches and damage during handling. Palletize larger quantities to minimize direct contact.
    • Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stacked up to 4 feet high, utilizing sturdy shelving units with a minimum shelf depth of 3 feet. Pallet storage is suitable for larger quantities, with a recommended pallet height of 48 inches.
    • Access Requirements: A loading dock with a minimum width of 12 feet is required for truck access. The warehouse door should be at least 9 feet wide for easy movement. A clearance space of 8 feet around each storage area is necessary for forklift operation. Consider a door with a clear opening of 10 feet for optimal access.
    • Material Handling Equipment: Forklifts or pallet jacks are necessary for moving the fiberglass liners.
