Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, or a space measuring 15 feet x 10 feet. Height clearance: 10 feet. This allows for the sauna unit and surrounding space for movement.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid areas exposed to direct sunlight or heavy rain. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage.
Special Handling: Infrared saunas are relatively heavy and potentially fragile. Each unit requires a minimum of 4ft x 4ft of protective padding around its base during storage. Shipping crates or sturdy pallets are recommended for transport and initial storage.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is ideal, with a minimum pallet size of 48" x 40". Shelving units with a maximum height of 8 feet are permissible if designed to support the weight of the saunas. Avoid stacking items directly on top of the saunas.
Access Requirements: A standard 12-foot wide loading dock is required for delivery access. The door opening should be at least 9 feet wide to accommodate the size of the saunas. A clear access aisle of 8 feet should be maintained around each storage location.
