Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, or a 10ft x 15ft area. Height clearance: 10 feet is recommended. A dedicated area of 8ft x 12ft would also suffice.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area should be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Storage surfaces should be clean and level.
Special Handling: Corian countertops are a fragile material. Each piece should be individually wrapped in protective foam padding and cardboard. Stacking should be minimized. Pieces should be placed on a flat, stable surface.
Stacking/Shelving: Corian pieces can be stored on pallets (48" x 40" pallets recommended) or on a flat, stable surface. Shelving is optional but can improve organization. Avoid stacking more than two pieces high.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide bay door is required. A minimum clearance of 10ft around the storage area is necessary for forklift access. The door should be at least 96 inches wide for easy maneuvering. Forklifts with a load capacity of at least 5000 lbs are needed.
