    Space Requirements

    • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, with an area of 12ft x 12ft recommended. Height clearance: 12 feet is required for efficient storage.
    • Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage to linens.
    • Special Handling: Table linens are considered fragile. Each item should be stored in individual poly bags or wrapped in protective padding. Pallet wrap or bubble wrap is highly recommended. Items should be stacked carefully to prevent wrinkles or tearing.
    • Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable height capabilities are ideal. Pallet storage is acceptable, utilizing 48” high pallets. Stacking linens no more than 3-4 layers high is advised. Consider using interlocking shelving systems to maximize space.
    • Access Requirements: A standard 10ft x 12ft loading dock is needed for truck access. Door width: 10 feet. A minimum clearance of 8 feet is required at the loading dock to accommodate forklift operation. Forklift access is essential for moving materials within the storage area. Adequate aisle space of 8 feet is needed for maneuverability.
