Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or an area of 12ft x 16ft. Height clearance: 12 feet. A dedicated area of 8ft x 10ft is also acceptable for smaller collections.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The space must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and mildew growth. The floor should be level and capable of supporting the weight of stored items. Avoid areas prone to flooding or water damage.
Special Handling: Items should be protected with adequate padding – bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or cardboard – particularly for fragile items like ceramics or glassware. Heavy items require a stable base and may necessitate additional support. Consider using corner protectors to safeguard items during stacking.

Access Requirements: Loading dock needs a 12ft wide x 12ft deep access area. The primary access door should be at least 8ft wide with a minimum clearance of 3ft on either side.
