Storage Conditions: Dry storage area is required. The space should be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation. Maintain a clean and organized storage environment.
Special Handling: Security lights are considered moderately fragile. Each unit should be packaged with sufficient padding – bubble wrap and cardboard – to prevent damage during handling. Boxes should be clearly labeled “Fragile – Security Lights”.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on pallets (48” x 36” standard pallets) or using shelving units with adjustable shelves. Shelves should be at least 48” deep to accommodate box sizes. A maximum stack height of 5 pallets is recommended.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a minimum width of 12 feet and a door opening of 10 feet is necessary for easy access. A clearance space of 8 feet around the loading dock is required for forklift maneuverability. Ensure adequate aisle space of at least 8 feet between storage locations.
